BEAK has a highly qualified engineering team with expertise in mechanical, electrical, maritime, and aeronautical engineering.

Kal is a qualified Chartered Accountant and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants Australia. He began is career in 1998 and was part of the BHP Billiton graduate scheme. Kal then moved to the UK in 2002 where he worked in large multinational businesses across the telecommunications and media industries. In 2009 Kal was offered the opportunity to work in the UAE where he was a key lead in the successful sale of a local media business to Thomson Reuters. In October 2015 Kal relocated back to Australia to take up the CFO position with BEAK where he will be responsible for the financial and strategic direction of the Company tribulations towards technology and innovative solutions.

Phil brings 24 years of naval experience to BEAK Engineering. His qualifications in the aeronautical field include a Diploma in Aircraft Engineering Airframes and Engines and a Certificate in Engineering Aircraft Metal Fabrication. He was heavily involved in the development of rotary wing operations for the ADF Special Forces. His non aeronautical qualifications span from Clearance Diving to Explosive Ordnance Disposal and Counter Terrorism. Phil’s management credentials include Certificate IV’s in Frontline Management and Training and Assessment and is a certified Quality Assurance Inspector.

Trent is regarded as a Subject Matter Expert within the areas of Supply Chain and General management. Trent maintains proven management and leadership abilities which include highly developed interpersonal and communication skills coupled with a proven aptitude in developing, influencing and maintaining productive and cost effective working relationships with strategic partners and stakeholders on a national and global front. Trent’s credentials include Masters Degrees in both Supply Chain and Business innovation. He also maintains numerous accreditations that he received during his 18 years’ service with the Royal Australian Navy.

Tony completed 22 years service in the Australian Navy as a Weapons Technician. After leaving the navy, he work within the Oil and Gas industry for 10 years. His qualifications include a Diploma in Engineering, Certificate of Proficiency for Electrical Fitter/Mechanic, Certificate III in frontline Management and Certificate III in Electrical Maintenance.

Tom’s career journey spans across both military and engineering sectors. Serving as a weapons rates electronics technician in the Royal Australian Navy for seven years, Tom honed his technical skills, earned a Certificate IV in Electronics and Communication, and developed a strong work ethic. After his military service, he joined Beak Engineering as an Electrical Technician in Victoria before moving to NSW to establish BEAK’s NSW branch and support defence and other customers. Currently, he leads the BEAK NSW team, delivering excellence in Field Service and Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) on Naval Aviation Systems. Tom’s extensive credentials include an Associate Degree in Electrical Engineering, a Diploma of Project Management, and a Certificate IV in Workplace Safety. His broad range of skills and experiences make him a versatile and highly capable professional in the engineering field.
